Quilts of Valor
Members contribute blocks to national and state QOV block drives.
Three members combined their skills to create this 39x39 lap quilt very quickly. A local Vietnam veteran and inspiration to his friends suffered a fast-moving brain tumor. The folks at QOV granted an official label in this special instance as the quilt comforted this warrior and his family in his last days.
Project Linus
Members are encouraged to contribute at least one quilt per year which is distributed to children in need living in our local area.
Other Projects
We have donated quilts to the following:
1. ArtReach organization which auctioned the quilt and used proceeds to fund charitable projects.
2. Family member of guild member who sustained serious injuries in an accident.
3. Local soldier who served in an overseas war zone.
